ATHENS FACTS

Athens Drive High School, opened in 1978, is a true Community School.  Athens Drive High School houses a public library, serves a site for Community Schools, and has a five star daycare center in its facility.  Athens Drive is a comprehensive High School with a variety of academic programs including a Medical Science Academy, and Freshman Academy.  We are a Professional Learning Community, and value academic excellence. We offer courses in the core areas of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies as well as have courses in Career Technical Education, Healthful Living, Visual and Performing Arts, English as a Second Language, and Special Education.  We offer Advanced Placement courses, which have been acredited by the Collegeboard, in English Literature, English Language, Calculus AB and BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, Psychology, US History, World History, European History, Art, Spanish Language, and French Language.
